Disk Drive Not Reading any disks - Failure

I followed all if the "electronic reset versions" known to this community, with no successful results. This PS5 Console will not read disks any longer.

One last step was suggested to me, which was to run a "disk cleaner" and see if this works.

I do not have faith in this type of procedure, especially on a console type of drive system, let alone any electronic system. Is this true? Is there such a "Disk Cleaner" for what is essentially a laser system? Please advise, thanks!
