@josephkariuki what exactly is blinking? Did anything happen to this laptop or did all of this just start all of a sudden? What have you checked?

@oldturkey03 the keyboard and after some few seconds it goes off completely. also nothing is displaying on the screen

@josephkariuki

What lights are blinking, Power light, caps lock light?

Count the number of times it blinks then it will pause and start blinking the same number of blinks again.

Also does the light change colour between red and white? if so count the red blinks and then the white blinks

This is an error code that will help to find out what's wrong.

@oldturkey03 the power light and the whole keyboard goes off now its not even charging and not even powering on

Hi @josephkariuki

If it is not indicating that it is even charging then you will have to start at the beginning to find out why not.

First you need to use a DMM (digital multimeter) check if there's 19.5V DC on the output plug of the charger to prove if it is OK.

If you don't have a DMM you may have to find a compatible charger and try that.

If the charger is faulty, search online using the part number for the charger(s) shown on p.24 of the guide (linked below) for suppliers that suit you best

If the charger is OK then next you have to prove whether the laptop's DC-In jack (supplier example only) is OK by opening the laptop and then disconnecting the jack cable from the motherboard and with the charger connected to the laptop, check if there's 19.5V DC between the red and black wires of the jack's cable plug.

What can happen sometimes is the the +ve inner conductor of the jack breaks internally, preventing the power getting to the motherboard and also to the battery to charge it. If it is faulty as proved by testing, it cannot be repaired, it has to be replaced. Search online for M15626-001 to find suppliers that suit you best.

Here's the maintenance and service guide for the laptop that will help. Go to p.48 to view the procedure to disconnect the power connector cable from the motherboard. You don't have to remove the jack, just disconnect it from the motherboard so that you can test it in isolation from the board.

If the DC-In jack is OK then there's a motherboard fault and further testing would be required to find out what's wrong.
