Problem: Wi-fi toggle switch will toggle for a few seconds to minutes but not connect and turn back off. No new updates or apps. Bluetooth works, data works.
Attempted Fixes: Restart, cleared partition, reset network settings, factory reset, Removed smart things. What else is there to do and how?

You could always use the test mode code to see if that shows anything.
If it is a hardware related problem, then you will need the service manual, especially the troubleshooting section. With most Samsung service manuals the troubleshooting section has flowcharts showing what components need to be checked if a certain function is not working. It also has the board layout showing where the components mentioned by the flowchart are located. With some it even has the parts list making it easier to find replacement parts if any are required.
The service manual link above is the only one that I could find online that has download links rather than having to purchase then manual from Ebay etc. The rub is that you have to register with the website to download the files. No doubt as in a lot of cases when this is a requirement you will have to pay for it and I don't know how much it is as I didn't try it. This is not a recommendation to use them as I have never used them and cannot advise whether they are safe to use or not. Your call.

“My Samsung Z Fold 3’s Wi-Fi isn’t working, and I suspect it’s due to the screen. When I transfer the motherboard to a different screen assembly, the Wi-Fi works, but in the screen teardown, I couldn’t find anything related to Wi-Fi. I can’t figure out why this is happening. I think I may need to replace the screen, but screens are very expensive. Does anyone have any ideas?”
