Try a power reset and check if that resolves the problem.
Disconnect the charger and then remove the battery from the laptop.
Then press and hold the power button for 30 seconds and then release it.
Reinsert the battery and connect the charger and check.
If still no good it may be the RTC coin cell battery (aka cmos battery). The problem with this is that this battery is located on the underside of the motherboard. (click on 2nd smaller image on left side of main image to see the CR2032 battery lower left side of board in image)
To access it you will have nearly completely disassemble the laptop. Once you have removed it from the board, measure its voltage. If it is <2.4V DC or is >5 years old, replace it. These batteries are commonly available everywhere e.g. supermarkets.
By the time you have accessed, removed/replaced the RTC battery and reassembled the laptop, the BIOS would have been reset so once the laptop is completely reassembled, connect the charger and check if it turns on.
