black screen green light no sound

hi I recently found my old psp e1000 and I tried to turn it on and i had a green light but the screen dont turn on and i dont even hear sound from the psp i tried to turn it on without the battery did not work and holding the shoulder button whil lunching dont work before i go and buy a screen is there sumthing else i need to check ?
