Streifen und wanderndes flimmern auf dem Bildschirm

Hallo,

der Fernseher meiner Eltern flackert seit kurzem mit horizontalen Streifen. Zusätzlich hatte er schon länger leicht sichtbare statische horizontale Streifen auf der linken Seite.

Das flackern startet oben und wandert innerhalb von ein paar Minuten nach unten. (Währenddessen sind im Menü auch farbige Streifen sichtbar) Wenn es so ungefähr im unteren Drittel angekommen ist hört es plötzlich komplett auf und das Bild ist mehr oder weniger normal (Bis auf die statischen Streifen).

Weiß jemand woran das liegen könnte?

@fliesi this looks very much like a panel error. Looking at your second picture, it appears as if the error gets worse from left to right. It is either a panel error of a main board GPU issue. This is a relatively new TV and I would definitely have words with either LG directly or the seller and see if there is any kind of warranty left on this TV.

@fliesi das sieht sehr nach einem Panel-Fehler aus. Wenn man sich dein zweites Bild ansieht, scheint es, als ob der Fehler von links nach rechts schlimmer wird. Es ist entweder ein Panel-Fehler oder ein GPU-Problem der Hauptplatine. Dies ist ein relativ neues TV und ich würde auf jeden Fall Worte mit entweder LG direkt oder dem Stor haben und sehen, ob es noch irgendeine Art von Garantie auf diesem TV gibt.

@oldturkey03 thank you for the answer. Unfortunately the warranty has expired a few months back. Amazon told us that they couldn’t do anything anymore and LG sent us to a repairshop. They could repair it for like 800 or 900€… The TV itself and the 2023 Version of this TV is only 700€…. So thats not an option for us.

Therefore I opened it up and looked at the components, but I couldn’t see anything wrong or burnt. I reconnected all cables I was able to. That also didn’t help :/

I don’t think I want to replace the whole panel, since that’s probably the most expensive and complicated part to replace.

Is there anything else I can try?

von

@fliesi you could try and get a replacement mainboard. Get a used one if you can find it. That would rule out the GPU as the culprit and who knows maybe it’ll fix it.
