@roberthruppert Sorry to hear that your GPS is broken! iFixit doesn’t actually fix things for people.

The site is a place for people to learn repair for themselves—the “i” in iFixit is you!

For this repair, it appears that you will need to replace the LCD. I am not sure if it is available to you, but I did a preliminary check over here and the screens are available but darn, those aren't cheap :-)

The hardest part will be to figure out how to tear it down to get to the LCD. See if this video comes close to your unit.
