Lower screen displays for a while, but then the image becomes glitched

I have a DS Lite where the bottom screen works for a while, but then it becomes glitched out and discolored. Touchscreen works fine. Sign of a bad connection or a bad screen as a whole?

It seems you're experiencing an issue with your Nintendo DS Lite's lower screen. Let's troubleshoot this glitchy display! While I'm not a certified technician, I can offer some insights based on common problems:

1. **Bad Connection**:

- A **loose or faulty connection** between the screen and the motherboard could cause display issues.

- Check if the **ribbon cable** connecting the lower screen is securely attached. Ensure it's in a straight line and properly seated.

- If you've recently replaced any parts, consider trying the **old bottom screen** to see if the issue persists.

2. **Faulty LCD Screen**:

- The **discolored and glitched display** might indicate a problem with the **LCD screen** itself.

- Sometimes, a **defective new screen** can cause issues. If you have the old screen, test it to rule out this possibility.

- If the problem persists, consider replacing the **bottom LCD screen**.

Remember that these are general suggestions, and for a precise diagnosis, it's best to consult a professional technician or refer to official repair guides.
