Dual voltage regulator burnt

Hi,

Problem:

My laptops display joint was broken but I was using it carefully until the LCD panel cable managed to get stuck in between the joint and shorted itself badly. The spark was bad enough to turn it off permanently.

Solution

I carefully opened the whole laptop within seconds and disconnected the battery. I tried to give it power but no luck at all. it's been quite a while but suddenly I wanted to check the inner side and then I saw this burnt dual voltage regulator. Please check the google drive link for all the photos of up and down view of the area including model numbers.

Based on my electrical knowledge and soldering skills, I was able to make sure nothing else was burnt using high power light and magnified glass inspection. I went ahead and carefully soldered the burnt component off the board.

I tried to find clear image or schematics of this motherboard on the internet but had no luck. I need to figure out the correct component model so I can re-solder it. I am planning to use low air flow heat gun since this chips can't be put on a hot plate.

Personally this laptop isn't as powerful as they come nowadays, but it's a gift from my dad and this laptop helped me through a lot. That is why it is so important for me to fix it..
