I have the same problem with my Maytag HHW5630HC0 frontloader. I bought a new front touch panel and that did not work. The green light is still flashing in the back control panel.

Did you mean a Maytag MHW5630HC0?
Also when you refer to the "green light is still flashing in the back control panel"do you mean the status LED on the control board?
If so here's the service manual for the washer series.
Go to p.3-6 (p.44 of 94) and follow the checks for TEST #1: ACU Power Check.
If it passes the voltage checks but not the service cycle check (see Step.13 of the test) then if your washer's serial number is within the range as shown by this Technical Service Pointer it still may be a problem with the Control Board.
If you determine that the control board is the problem and you decide to replace it, search online for W11322901 to find suppliers that suit you best.
