Replacing the charging port

Hello, is it possible to replace just the charging port part where the cord goes into, in order to avoid having to solder a whole new piece on? I saw online you can buy just the port but I didn’t see anywhere if that would work or if the whole thing needs to be replaced. I hope that makes sense. I accidentally yanked on the cord and now the connection is so loose I have to hold the cord with my hand in order to keep the contact in place so it can charge. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated, thanks.
