Hi all, I have the Sony open ear Linkbuds for over a year now and the right earbud is dying fast and does not fully charge. Does anyone know how to replace the battery or can I just take it to an iFixIt place for repair?
I know these small devices can be tricky to find places outside the manufacturer to work on. Appreciate any help

The battery for the case is easy, and now I am applying heat to the buds to try to get the batteries for a swap.

Were you able to get the buds open? I'm trying to pry the battery case apart but I'm not getting anywhere.
I have not got any further yet as I have cut half my finger off with a circular saw. But I could see that some have had luck useing a vice to squeeze them open.

Almost impossible to replace battery. I was able to open both with a lot of work. But, there is a lot of delicate plastic pieces with tabs inside. On a scale of 1 through 10, the battery replacement is a 1.
