Right thumb stick drift not fixed after replacement

Hi! New owner of a refurbished steam deck OLED here. Recently, there was a very small amount of water that got spilled on the device at some point during the night, and then my right thumb stick started having extreme stick drift. To my knowledge, all other parts of the deck are still working properly; I’ve tested all the buttons and other things thoroughly in games and in the input test.

Naturally, I decided to replace the thumbstick, but when it was replaced, it kept acting the exact same way. What’s the next step here?

My instinct is to go into the board, clean the connection points with isopropyl, and then let it dry out for a day; if that doesn’t work, what would be recommended?
