When washer is in the wash cycle it makes a loud squeaking noise almost like a loose belt or clutch failing just started making the noise

The washer is a direct drive model so there's no belt.
Seems like it may be a problem with the clutch slider in the washer.
Here's a video that shows how to replace it.
Search online for W10734521¹ to find slider kit suppliers that suit you best. (examples only)
¹ FYI, Maytag washers are usually made using Whirlpool parts hence the Whirlpool part number for the kit.
