Are the locking tabs on the kickplate all still OK or are they broken or missing?
Here's a link that has a video showing how to replace the kickplate, that may help.
At 42 seconds into the video it shows where the tabs are located on the kickplate.
If they're broken and you want to replace the kickplate, search online for 240368301 to find suppliers of the part (examples only)
