Vertical coloured lines and double image/picture

Hi all!
So, this is my grandma’s TV, it has gone bad overnight and she wanted to know if I could fix it. It’s at my place now, half disassembled, so if you’d like more info, just ask.
When the TV is cold (not being turned on for 24 hours or more) she gets vertical coloured lines appear, but they go away after a couple of minutes.
After that the picture is nice and crisp for 10/15 minutes
-But after that it starts to display every picture texted double, like everthing is in 3D.
+But after that it starts to display every picture/text double, like everthing is in 3D.
'''''What I’ve tried so far;'''''
I’ve ruled out a software issue I think (turned auto-3D off, updated FW and reset TV to factory defaults).
Looked for obvious defects on the boards (leaking or buldging caps, bad connections, etc.) but couldn’t find any.
Cleaned all the ribbon cables and every other connector with contact spray and reseated them.
But nothing seems to work.
'''''What I’ve noticed;'''''
The T-CON board (part nr 1p-111cx00-4010) has 2 chips (1 black one, looks like a RAM chip and 1 Silver big chip with Sony XCA 7 on it) who get really hot in just a matter of seconds, too hot to touch. I’ve actually burned the tip of my finger.
Is it normal for these components to get this hot?
I’ve highlighted the chips in the picture.
What could it be? Thanks!
