You need to update the YouTube application manually.

go to programs>YouTube>storage>clear cache and data.

verify you can obtain Youtube from the app store.

Uninstall current version

reinstall newer version

run the app and try watching something

check for updates via app store by going to the same download page.

log back in if you want to and you are done.
