I'm in the process of fitting an old HP laptop with an SSD. After removing the back cover I've noticed that the flip cover on the FPC connector that the SDD plugs into looks like it has snapped off.
I appreciate that the ideal solution is to get the FPC replaced but I really would prefer to avoid that if possible. Does anyone have any other suggestions?
