luckily I had the tools from a battery replacement. I installed it no problem, didn't' seem to work so I pulled it. Then I decided to try a new power supply so I reinstalled it and it's beautiful now. Gave my wife her own computer as a b-day gift, she had given up on it. She shed a tear.
