Mein Problem
A while ago my 13" MacBook Pro from 2009 started making a weird noise. I quickly discovered that it was the fan that was broken (both by the noise it gave and also by checking the fan speed in an application).
Meine Reparatur
I ordered the spare part from iFixit.com and got it shipped to Europe in just 4 business days. The forecast of the shipping said 3 weeks so I was really happy.
The repair was super easy. Just open up the back of the laptop. Loosen two screws on the old fan. Unhook the cable. And do the reverse for the new fan. I thought I had to check the guide but it was easy enough to do it without the guide.
