Was du brauchst
Einführungsvideo
- Es gibt keine proprietären Schrauben
- Das Display des OnePlus 5 ist mit Klammern befestigt, die sich leicht ablösen lassen.
- Die meisten Bauteile, wie z.B. die Kameras und das Flachbandkabel zum USB-C Anschluss/ Kopfhörerbuchse sind modular und leicht zugänglich.
- Der Ausbau des Akkus wird durch eine Zuglasche erleichtert, allerdings muss vorher erst die Hauptplatine entfernt werden.
- Das Display ist mit der Glasscheibe verklebt und der Home Button ist in das Display integriert, so dass eine Reparatur dieser drei Teile kompliziert und teuer wird.

Wonderful video as usual. If one were to take theirs apart would it be as 'tight' once it was back together?
I think the buttons edges are a little sharp and I'm tempted to take it apart to put a little bevel on them.
I'd like it if the screen didn't end up being loose or have gaps around the back cover.

This video really sucks. It’s cut way to fast, you just don’t see anywhere how disassembly is done. Instead the talk is just advertising the phone.

The ‘Final Thoughts’ above has this:
The display and glass are fused and the home button is integrated into the display assembly making repair of all three of these parts more complicated and expensive.
I’ve just changed my home button/fingerprint sensor (thanks ifixit!) and it just presses out with just a bit of careful pressure on each side. It’s not integrated.
BTW, none of the repair guides mentioned that you need to put double sided tape or other suitable adhesive on the back of the replacement button before pressing it into place.
