Device Will Not Turn On
The device does not show signs of turning on.
Power Supply Not Working
Make sure the device is getting proper power from your power outlet. Simply unplug device and connect to a different power outlet. If device does still not work after trying a few different outlets that are known to work, then the issue is inside the device.
Digital Display Does Not Turn On
Device is on but digital display is not lighting up.
Control Panel Malfunction
When the toaster oven is first powered on there is a chime to indicate the oven has power. If you observe the noise but the digital displace won’t turn on there are two possible problems. First, test to see if you can start the oven and change settings even if you don’t see the led lights indicating so. If this is the case, go to the Control Panel Replacement Guide and look into replacing the led bulbs. If this is not the case, and you know the device is getting power, then you will have to replace the control panel completely (Control Panel Replacement Guide).
Device Emits Loud Noise
The device emits a loud rattling or humming noise.
Broken Motor
A faulty motor has several symptoms: loud grinding noises, vibrations or rattling, mechanical smell and smoke. If you identify any of these problems seek our guide for replacing the motor.
Cooling Fan is Clogged
The cooling fan can cause loud noises too if it gets clogged, blocked, or has a broken blade. Since the Ninja has a relatively small, plastic cooling fan, the noise is higher pitch and causes less vibrations than the motors fan. If you have identified this as the issue, go to changing out the cooling fan.
Device Overheats
The top of the device becomes excessively hot.
Heating Mechanism Not Working
The inside of the oven might be exceeding the proper temperature. To check this, set the oven to a temperature and once it is pre-heated open the door and check the temperature of the inside air. The temperature should be less than expected but if it is over this means it is overheating internally. There are two heating components to replace the heating coils and replace the motor.
Not Insulated Properly
If the inside of the oven is not overheating, then you can check the insulation and add more if needed. To reach the insulation check our insulation replacement guide, and we recommend adding another strip of insulation to minimize heating of the outside metal.
Device Not Reaching Proper Temperature
The device does not reach the desired temperature.
Malfunctioning Temperature Sensor
A faulty temperature sensor will prevent your device from reaching the desired temperature. This may be due connection issues. Try replacing the temperature sensor using the Temperature Sensor Replacement Guide.
Cooling Fan Not Turning Off
The device's cooling fan does not turn off.
Cooling Fan Malfunction
The cooling fan itself may be defective. Replace this part using the Cooling Fan Replacement Guide
Broken Temperature Sensor
It is possible that the cooling fan is not responding due to a connection problem via the temperature sensor. If the temperature sensor is reading the oven as hot, the fan will not turn off. Try replacing the temperature sensor using this Temperature Sensor Replacement Guide.
Device Emitting Chemical/Mechanical Smell
The device emits a chemical/mechanical smell.
Device is Not Clean
Remove the food trays from the device. Next, flip the device upright using the hinges and open the bottom door. Inspect the interior of the device for crumbs, spills, etc. If you see anything be sure to clean out the interior to insure burning food was not causing the smell.
Food Tray Coating Issue
It is possible that the coating on the device's food tray has come off. Either replace the device's food tray or discontinue use of them.
Malfunctioning Motor
If the inside of the oven looks clean and the food trays are not damaged, the motor might be casing the smell. There are a few ways to identify a faulty motor: loud grinding noises, vibrations or rattling, smoke and device is overheating. If you observe any of these symptoms, visit the Motor Replacement Guide.
Device Panel Disconnecting
The bottom panel of the device disconnects.
Bottom Panel Malfunction
If the bottom panel of the device disconnects, or needs to be removed for cleaning, follow the Bottom Panel Replacement Guide for help.

I’m interested in the fan replacement page, but it looks like the link isn’t fully defined. Where can I find that guide?

The cooling fan looks like it should be pretty easy to replace. When you flip it up and lower the bottom (as if for cleaning) there are several #2 Phillips head screws, 1 small torx, and 2 rivets. The rivets are a disappointment... I'm pretty sure those have to be drilled out, but I've misplaced my torx bit set and can't continue. I'm hoping that at least one of the rivets can be left alone.

#2 philips works OK, but most of the screws are actually #6 "Torq-Set" bits. Unfortunately upon further inspection (and removing lots and lots of torque screws, I was unable to get at the area containing the cooling fan. It seems this product is lots of pieces of folded sheet metal and everything is has some other piece overlapping it.

I am also forbidden from viewing the guides. Any reason the links will not load?
