#2 philips works OK, but most of the screws are actually #6 "Torq-Set" bits. Unfortunately upon further inspection (and removing lots and lots of torque screws, I was unable to get at the area containing the cooling fan. It seems this product is lots of pieces of folded sheet metal and everything is has some other piece overlapping it.
The cooling fan looks like it should be pretty easy to replace. When you flip it up and lower the bottom (as if for cleaning) there are several #2 Phillips head screws, 1 small torx, and 2 rivets. The rivets are a disappointment... I'm pretty sure those have to be drilled out, but I've misplaced my torx bit set and can't continue. I'm hoping that at least one of the rivets can be left alone.
