FXSVC - GE Whole Home Filter

This GE Whole Home Filter (FXSVC) is a genuine filter set designed for reverse osmosis systems. Manufactured by GE, it is compatible with brands that can support 10-Inch by 3-Inch filters. This filter set includes one carbon block pre-filter with a gray end cap and one carbon block post filter with a green end cap. The filter with the gray end cap is installed first and should be placed on the water inlet side (from the water supply), while the green filter is installed second and should be installed on the water exit side (to your tap/refrigerator). This water filter filters down to 0.5 microns and is designed to protect your drinking water from cysts, chlorine odor and flavor, sediment, rust, and volatile organic compounds (VOC’s), also known as chemicals in your water. Symptoms indicating the need for a filter replacement include noticeable changes in water taste or odor, and reduced water flow, suggesting the filters are clogged. It should be replaced every six months or 600 gallons, whichever comes first, and this can vary depending on your local water conditions.
