  • The battery is held in place with some fairly strong adhesive. If you have difficulty removing your battery, or if it starts to deform as you pull it out, you can try these other removal tricks:

  • Prepare an iOpener and apply it to the screen opposite where the battery sits. The heat will help soften the adhesive holding the battery down. Do not apply the iOpener or any other form of heat directly to the battery.

  • Apply some high-concentration isopropyl alcohol or adhesive remover along the bottom of the battery and then tilt the phone so the liquid will run along the bottom of the battery and weaken the adhesive. Then wait a few minutes and try removal again.

  • Carefully slide the flat end of a spudger under the battery to slice through the adhesive and lever the battery out of the phone.

  • To install a new battery, clean any residual adhesive from the phone and use some Tesa tape to hold the new battery in place. Do not reuse your battery if it is wrinkled or deformed in any way.

Erwärme einen iOpener und lege ihn auf das Display gegenüber vom Akku auf. Dadurch wird der Kleber aufgeweicht, mit dem der Akku befestigt ist. Wende den iOpener oder eine andere Wärmequelle nicht direkt am Akku an.

Träufle etwas hochkonzentrierten Isopropylalkohol oder Klebstoffentferner entlang der unteren Akkukante und kippe dann das Smartphone, so dass die Flüssigkeit unter den Akku läuft und den Kleber schwächt. Lasse sie einige Minuten lang einwirken und probiere es dann erneut.

Lasse das flache Ende des Spudgers vorsichtig unter dem Akku entlang gleiten, um den Kleber aufzutrennen und den Akku aus dem Smartphone zu hebeln.

Um den neuen Akku einzubauen, musst du das Smartphone von allen Klebstoffresten reinigen und dann den Akku mit Tesaband befestigen. Baue einen irgendwie verformten oder zerknickten Akku keinesfalls wieder ein.
