nexus wet in rain - not booting

Hi friends,

my nexus wet in rain partially by mistake I have turned on the phone...initially got an error message " network is unavailable if you want to use the service please remove your sim and restart the phone". I clicked on restart and phone got rebooted while in booting process it was showing "android is upgrading apps of 1-109". I was on hurry I came to office and kept the phone on. after 2 hours when I clicked on power button device didn't recognize. phone is not booting now I read few articles so kept my phone in rice box. its almost 2 days now. I tried turning on phone pressing power button for 60 secs and hold volume down + power button nothing works. totally frustrating. please suggest me what to do...I'm afraid of the charging the phone.
