How can I get that flat piece of garbage to work? I have replaced them, had them reprogrammed and still doesn't work.

Is the key itself or the car's remote that you are having problem with?

If remote programing try the following link: keyfobprogram.com and follow the instructions to the letter otherwise will not work.
