Adhesive for flex cable after battery replacement

I followed this guide to replace my battery

Motorola Moto X 2. Generation Akku tauschen

On step 8 the flex cable is attached to the back of the battery with some sort of adhesive. The cable doesn't stick anymore and my volume down button is broken because of this. What type of adhesive is used to reattach that cable?
