Is there a way to fix the charger cover accidentally removed

We were able to use our GoPro Hero5 Black and it worked as advertised, it's waterproof. But when we recharged it, we accidentally removed the cover and we can't put it back attached to the hinge. We can't use the Hero5 now for underwater video and photo. Need help and advise. Thanks.
