DSi XL wont open, wont charger no light I think its short circuit

help me my dsi xl wont turn on. a minute later it was working and then suddenly wont after i just made a DIY charger from 110v original charger and usb cord i cut the cord on both and attach the usb cord to charger cord and put in my power bank. then suddenly it wont work..
