Touch screen interpreting taps as swipes after screen replacement.

I recently completed a screen replacement. Everything went well, except for one problem. The screen sometimes interprets 2 touches made in rapid succession (such as while typing) as a swipe. I have tried rebooting and checking the cable connection, but neither have worked.

Hi,

Do you have a screen protector covering the screen? If so check how it works without it.

No, I don't currently have a screen protector on.

MaxMazz could be caused by a faulty digitizer. I'd replace it once more with a different one to rule it out.

Thanks for the suggestion. I'm currently waiting on a response from the seller, this seems like a likely cause.
