How do I replace a broken screen on the Huawei P Smart?

just watched the end of the video. DO NOT USE A BONDING AGENT LIKE THAT. use 1mm double sided adhesive and DAB bonding agents on corners and sides. The amount they used can easily cause damage to components

I bought this as the phone functions fine but the screen is cracked and I was l led to believe that only this part would need replacing.

Is this possible? thanks

i havent done the repair on this device myself specifically, however, it may be possible.

i would need to physically hold the phone to see if the two parts are serperable. (you feel a little give, before it connects to the LCD)

if they are sepreable, then the repair is very similar, but you lift the Digi from the LCD instead of the whole assembly from the bracket.

I can not find any video guides for this unfortunately, so you will have to be at least some one intuitive to do this part.
