No display while docked - Replaced M92T36 and USB

I have a switch that, when I got it, wouldn’t power on and had a bad USB port.

I powered it up with a known good battery, and it got to the stuck Nintendo Switch logo.

I replaced both the M92T36 and the USB port.

Everything seems to be working now except for no display when docked. I get a solid green light on the dock, which Nintendo says is indicating display should be being output to the TV. My dock/HDMI are fine, they work fine with another Switch.

Any idea where to look? Does it sound like my USB port didn’t get soldered on properly, or does it sound like something around the M92T36. I did have a problem with some of the small components around the M92T36 coming off during my attempt to change the chip (which did not go well, but seems to be working finally). But I compared everything to a known good board and I appear to have everything back correctly.

Do we know what pins the display port output comes out of from the M92T36? I believe I read that chip is responsible for display too.

Ist dies eine gute Frage?

hey toby!

have you tried to check the P13USB IC and it’s capacitors? as far as I know this chip is responsible for USB/TV communication. otherwise check this thread: https://de.ifixit.com/Antworten/Ansehen/...
