Does anyone know how to repair the camera glass of the iphone xs max?
i can only find the glass with the ring on ebay but the ring for the glass is soldered on the frame of the phone. i tried to heat it up but i cannot remove it.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

Sorry guy you’ll need a new case unit and transfer all of your phones guts to it. As you can see here in the iPhoneX teardown on Step 22 iPhone X Teardown the back glass is well glued and the lens cover glass frame is welded to the case! This is the same for the Xs Max.

Just replace the back cover...they sell it on this site actually.

Still a bit of work to get the old glass off.
Oh, I'm sure it is... iPhone's are CRAZY to take apart and crazier to put back together ( IF you get them apart successfully lol)

The fastest and by far the simplest and most effective way to replace the back camera glass on an iPhone XS Max is to replace only the lens. This can be done for around $5-$6. First, you heat up the lens, carefully remove it, and make sure all of the excess glass is removed. After that, you should be able to grab the replacement lens (linked below), add a little bit of adhesive and put it on. I have used this method before on an iPhone 7 Plus and it worked perfectly! Just make sure that when you are removing the glass you are super careful not to touch the camera sensor with the glass, fingers, or even tweezers. Hopefully, this helped you!

The replacement camera glass has ring on it. The video didn't show how to remove the whole set with the ring. Do you have another video related to the camera glass on eBay?

if I were you id heat it up and remove the glass from your new piece and put that on with a little glue, you can remove the whole thing by breaking its broacket from the inside but you risk breaking the back glass (presuming they are like iPhone 8)

When you do that you break the flash bulb. I’ve seen several YouTube videos that say to do this, but when you do you won’t have a rear flash/flashlight on your iPhone any longer.
@tjburke The only way that you would "break the flash bulb" is if you put too much direct heat onto the flash unit, too much heat in general, or you decided to poke it and physically destroy the blub. Otherwise, I have successfully completed this replacement on an iPhone 7 Plus and everything was fully functional afterward. Please do not spread disinformation around about something if you have not tried to do the repair.
