Physical sync button on console is broken, how can I fix it?

My xbox one S no longer has a physical button inside the console to press to sync a controller to it. The plastic ‘button’ is there on the plastic case but there is no click when you press it because the button behind the plastic is physically not there.

I looked for other ways to sync a wireless controller but couldnt find anything so I’m guessing I need to replace something so if anybody has any advice I would appreciate it.
