This TV was given to me about 2 years ago and the HDMI ports didn't work so I bought a HDMI adapter that plugged into the blue/green/etc component. I've been watching it for over a year like this. A month ago the screen went black. I've already did the flashlight test. I had some voltage issues and replaced both the PSB and Main Board. Thoughts? I really love this Tv

Hello, if you did the flashlight test and you did see video, then the problem is your backlight LED ’s are bad there may be one or two of them shorted, in this case the panel will not light up, you will need to replace the backlight strips in the panel. This is major repair as the screen itself will need to come apart to get to them.

Is there a Led driver board in the set or is the Led driver part of the power supply?
If you replaced the Power supply/inverter board then it maybe the panel itself need to purchase a Led strip kit. You maybe able to get them from Www.shopjimmy.com. The repair of this kind involves in taking the panel apart, which requires patience and some time. They also have videos on how to replace LED Strips in LED TV’s.
I did not see any video with a flashlight. I cannot see any backlight via the removed back cover.
