Galaxy Buds right side volume low

3 days ago my Galaxy buds on the right side started to get low volume but with the left it's completely fine. I tried resetting twice, seeing if there's any physical damage or liquid, but it's still occurring. How do I fix it?

My left bud does this

von

My left bud is doing this but for some reason that bud has a much tighter fit even when I swap the ear tips

von

Same thing is happening to me. My left bud is now a lot quieter than my right bud.

von

I had the same problem. Tried all the "soft ware" fixes to no avail.

I took off the little silver screen cover. Removed the black mesh behind it, and replaced silver screen. Solved the problem. Sound is great.

von

Hey everyone, I have a fix that might help. I assumed it was a software problem with my buds too. I did the thing where I pulled the mesh out and all that and still had the problem.

Here's how I fixed it:

With the mesh attached in the earbud, I wiped it with rubbing alcohol, and then used an air duster can to blow directly into the mesh. Voila my earbuds were good as new.

How do you remove the grill tho?

von

I also did this, It completely worked, does not do any permanent damage to the bud either

von

Where is the metal grill and black sheath and how do i remove it? Could you explain steps please?

von

Disgustingly the problem was ear wax on the inside of the grille.

Ok ok ok ok ok. So I had this problem and freaked out. People kept telling me this bs solution about the Galaxy wearable app but it doesnt do sh!t. So hear me out please.

Please grab out 2-3 of those cotton swabs used to clean your ears. Grab your regular isopropyl Ahcohol and wet the tip. Clean the metal grill but face the earbud sidways so it doesnt leak into the earbud. When you're finished rubbing the metal grill with the swab clean it up real good with a towel (microfiber like the soft ones used for a car where you can buy at the dollar store) and let it dry for a few and boom, your sound is regained!

I guess its a matter of just cleaning them good once in a while.

This worked for me so im not sure how it goes for all of you. Keep in mind that if you're not cleaning your ears regularly, that'll happen. Remember to clean your ears and buds everyone. Hope this helps!!

I just had the same problem and eventually the whole earbud died, I then just assumed it was the speak so I ordered just the bud I needed off eBay and then just opened both of then up with a pry tool and unplugged the cable connector and swapped out the speaker modules and then it worked(because you can't sync two different earbuds, they are synced by chip) and on the up side you have a spare battery and touchpad button

von

Here's what I did. Nothing worked. I left my galaxy buds in the case for a couple of days because I was going to return them. I plugged connected them after a couple days of the right being so silent. When I connected them after a couple days they sounded brand new. I use em a lot so I guess they were being used to much. Try this and see if it works. It's a software issue not a hardware issue.

One solution you can try to apply is to go to settings > in the search bar, search “sound” > Tap the option that says “Left/Right Sound Balance” > and check if the cursor is set to the middle not all the way to the left or right. Turn off mono audio as well if it’s on. I hope this helps.

I was having this problem for a while and none of the solution I found worked. Then someone talked about the sound balance and I tried changing that in the accessibility menu. Even though it was in the middle i just changed completely on the left side and then changed it back in the middle and it immediately started working. I don't know why, maybe a software bug, factory reset didn't worked but this method yes.

So I took off the grill with the end of my blade I use for work or you could use a box cutter at your own risk cause it is metal on metal so don worry to much, pop the grill of there will be glue, tturn the grill over and there is a black film, take ur blade and s pop that out around the edges it will also have glue don't poke the middle and take that off and take cotton swab and so isopropyl alcohol and clean the wax on both the grill and the film put the film back into the grill no need to reglue either peice to make it easy to to clean the next time, put the grill back into the earbud and repeat with the other side and if u still have your original silicon tips they have this little edge that cover a peice of the metal grill so it shouldn't fall out but if u have other tips they should be OK
