What is the largest drive I can use with G-Technology Thunderbolt 2?

I have the 6TB version of the drive linked below:

I assume that since it’s available in a 10 TB capacity I should have no issues opening it up and installing a 10 TB drive? Has anyone installed a larger drive? I may go up to 12 TB if possible.

You may need a bios update but this is unclear.
