Roller brush doesn’t turn - Shark Lift-Away brand
I have a Shark Lift-Away, the brush has stopped turning. I have cleaned it, etc.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

If your Shark Navigator Lift-Away Pro vacuum’s floor roller no longer spins, see the Shark Navigator Lift-Away Pro Floor Roller is Not Spinning problem page for possible causes and solutions.

I'm having the same issue. Is there a reset button for the beater bar(brush roller)?
Mine won't even turn manually.
It is either:
A stuck brush because of debris
A bad or broken belt
A bad switch or connector
A bad brush motor.

What I discovered on mine is the microswitch (when you push the head down with your foot) does not turn on due to being clogged with fine dirt/lint. Disassembling the head is challenging, even for a good repair-type person. If you have successfully disassembled a cellphone and reassembled it and it worked, you might be able to access the microswitch. If you do, before removing/replacing the switch, I would check for voltage at the switch with a multimeter, if voltage is present, disconnect from power (wall outlet) apply WD-40 liberally, and exercise the switch thoroughly. Then check if it works. If power is at the switch but not passing through it after the WD-40 treatment, replace the switch.
Accessing the micro switch is a tedious process, breaking flimsy internal parts is possible if you're not extremely careful. They "snap together" much like older cell phones. Reassembly must be done in the correct order, and parts must "snap" back together completely.
Good luck to anyone who tries this.

My roller also stopped working. It would be nice if you could remove brush to see if there is hair wrapped around where the brush connects.

@yazminkuba18603 You can remove the brush, but it's not just a matter of snapping open a couple of latches on these machines; there are like 10 screws that have to be taken out but it is doable.
