So I spilled soy sauce on my keyboard and now the spacebar key is kind of stuck and won’t respond well. My thought was to remove the key, clean the area and put the key back in but somehow I am not able remove the spacebar key like the other keys. Is there a trick that I am missing?

Depending on how much soy sauce you spilled on the machine, you may want to look at liquid damage repair by a skilled technician. Louis Rossman of Rossman Repair Group in NYC is well known in the repair industry when it comes to MacBook repairs.

I have the same problem and sent it in for repair at an authorised service center. They checked for water damage (there wasn't any) but didn't fix the spacebar. Do you know how to fix the spacebar at home?
@Mostafa Hassan looks like you'll most likely need a keyboard replacement. "Authorized service centers" may have apple's blessing to work on their products, but they are nowhere near equipped or skilled like Rossmann or most independent repair shops. It's very difficult to replace the keyboards on these models because they are riveted to the case rather than screwed in. So you'll need to drill out the rivets or rip out the old keyboard resulting in permanent damage to the keyboard. Then you'll have to source a replacement from either eBay or AliExpress, a great majority of which will have questionable quality. But let's say you did manage to get a hold of a known good keyboard. You'll now have to tap and threat holes in the case so you can screw the new one in place. That is how difficult it is to fix the keyboard on any macbook now. Or you can seek out a bottom case but since you have a touchbar model, that fingerprint sensor is tied to the t2 security chip and won't turn on without it.
