Right bumper button is twitchy when pressed, often double input.

Though it didn’t seem to be an issue for months, my custom made Xbox controller’s right bumper is very finicky. When pressed on it’s right most side, it often has double inputs which has become a nuisance when tabbing through menus in certain games. Has anyone heard of this issue and would any tinkering be an option going forward? Unless I have a special warranty for custom controllers, it’s been well over 90 days. I have an ifixit kit. Thank you!
