After Replacing Battery and Screen, Gear S3 will not charge or turn on

Hello friends!

A while back, my Gear S3 Classic battery eventually fully drained/died. So I bought a replacement battery to refresh it. Turns out, during that operation, I managed to accidentally damage the flat wire that connects the screen to the MB. So I went ahead and bought a replacement screen as well!

Now that I have the replacement parts and the new battery installed correctly, when I place the watch on the charger, I get the red blinking light and no charge or power. I have already ordered another replacement battery just in case the first one I ordered was a dud.
