Can True Tone be transferred from non-original to new display?

Hey there helpful community :)

I’m not new into reparing scene, but far away from being professional. So I’m constantly learning new things and sometimes I can’t find answers. Anyway! Right here, right now, I got a question fot you. ;)

First of all:

I’m planning to buy an used iPhone X. There was already a display replacement some time ago. It was made by an official repair service (not Apple I guess). They did pretty good and also restored True Tone on the new display.

Now my question:

Can I use iCopy Plus?

I already used this tool, but only for tranfering display data from the original display to the new non-original one.

But in case the repair service did well and copied all display data as well… So they already installed but broken display is full with original data stuff… Is it possible to copy them again?

I thought abput an workaround… Like using anoter iPhone X with original screen and working True Tone, for copying process. But I think this is even less possible, because it won’t fit with mainboard.

Well… I hope there’s a helpful answer out there.

Tanks and bye. ^^

If the other place copied the info over from the original screen I can’t see it being a problem.
