So I have this macbook i just got a few days ago and when plugged in, only charges for a few seconds before not being detected in macos including coconut battery, I’ve tried multiple smc and pram resets and none of which worked.
Ist dies eine gute Frage?

If there is no battery icon to be seen anywhere in the display or settings etc then it is likely that the battery has either completely failed (Time for a replacement) OR there is a deeper issue on the Battery charging or output circuits which would require a specialist to examine as I presume that the unit is working fine when connected to a charger?
