Can not boot passed Nintendo logo.

A couple months I set my switch in the dock after playing. Picked it up the next day and noticed it was off, so I pressed the power button. This time the only thing that pops up is the Nintendo logo and the screen goes black after that. I assumed the dock wasn't plugged in correctly so I plugged it straight into an outlet to charge overnight. Came back and the same thing: Nintendo logo then black screen. I proceeded to press the power button multiple times after only to have the same effect happen. This is the first generation switch and I have only replaced the battery since purchase. Any information on how to fix this would be great. Thank you.
