Logo flashes and then the screen goes black.
My Philips TV has a similar problem. The Philips Logo flashes and then the screen goes black. The picture is there (seen with a light torch), sound and ambilight work. I opened the TV to check the LEDs and they seems OK. All the LEDs flash with full power and then turn off. Now I am not sure if the problem is power supply or one of the two logic boards. Any ideas? My TV is Philips 55PUS6754/12 model (4K).
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
@sn-khan this " All the LEDs flash with full power and then turn of" is usually how bad LED backlight strips manifest itself. It could be the power board so measure the voltage on the board connectors going to the LED's Expect around 300VDC on those. It is a Philips TV so my number one suspect are the LED backlights.
@oldturkey03 "Thanks a lot for your suggestion. Do you mean to say that even if the LEDs itself may be OK, the strips on which they are may have some issue? Other similar issues reported here with "no backlight" seemed to have had some faulty/burned LED strips. In my case I can't see any LEDs that are not flashing or are low in intensity. I will try to check the power supply as you suggested. But I thought the power to LED should be 12 Volts? What is 300VDC?
I posted some pictures here including the power supply picture. Can't see any voltage specified for the LEDs on it. Philips TV sound, ambilight, image work but backlight turns off
