Please confirm the model number. Is it XT1676 or XT1687 as I can't find an XT1667?

Hi @sadekianovic ,

What is the history of the phone, has it been dropped or gotten wet at all?

Given that you've done a factory reset and it still doesn't work OK, it points to a hardware problem and not software

There seems to be multiple problems although most can be associated with the headphone jack more than with the microphone e.g. headphone jack switches audio between speaker and headphones, also voice is switched as well from microphone to headphone mic, radio needs headphones plugged in for antenna etc

Does the phone indicate that the headphones are connected even when they aren't?

You may have to open the phone and check that the headphone jack is connected OK

Here's the ifixit Motorola Moto G5 Motherboard austauschen guide that may help. At least to gain access to the jack

Hello @jayeff,

Thank you for your answer, the phone's history was a problem of restarting because of battery, once I bought new one and connected it to the phone all of these happened, i don't know if that because of the new battery or what

I did my Best regarding the software issue but I can confirm it is not a software issue

There is no any sign that refers to a connected headphones when I put the headphones also there is no any signs appears

When I connect the earpods I hear nothing in also in the sound volume when I try to increase the volume of the earpods to maximum it force me to go to the minimum volume, what i want to say is the phone connected to the earpods but refuse to give it access to the sound or mic

@sadekianovic

Could still be the headphone jack.

There is a contact inside the jack that when the headphones are inserted it signals the operating system to switch the audio and voice away from the speakers and the microphone and onto the headphone jack. The operating system should indicate by placing the icon on the screen that the headphones are connected.

If the icon is not there and since there is no audio/voice it would be the first place to check if it was loose etc

If it is OK then the problem is on the systemboard but you would have to find the audio/voice circuit to know which components are used so that you can test them. That's why I asked about history. If the phone was dropped or gotten wet then the systemboard could be affected adversely.

I couldn't find a service manual or a schematic for the phone that would make it easier to test the audio/voice circuits as this is what would be the next step. You may have better luck.
