MacBook Air M1 display is not showing!
I replaced the display of my MacBook Air M1, but it didn't show up! I put it back, but it didn't show up!
However, it will be in DFU mode and recovery mode. What should I do?

Apple now prevents swapping of display assembly’s! They are now serialized! You need to use the Apple paywalled Calibration Tool. And it’s only available to you when you buy the display from Apple.
Yes, this sucks! All of the newer M series systems require this now

What models does this apply to? I've replaced displays on this model and on M1 MBPs without having to use the Calibration Tool.
It sounds like there could be an issue with the display you installed. Are you sure you installed the correct display? If the incorrect display is installed it might not behave properly. Check out the "MacBook Air USB C" section of this site for more information about compatibility. If you're certain you installed the correct part then it sounds like the part may be defective, in which case you may need to return it and get a replacement. Good luck!
