Nintendo switch wont turn on after replacing game card reader

Please help I have replaced my son's game card reader/ head phone jack and now I cant get it to turn on at all even tho replacing it was very easy to do. I have went back through serval times all the steps and cant seem to figure out what's going on. I have tried charging it nothing shows on the screen that it is charging either and no it isnt the charger. I have also tried hold the power button for 20 seconds. Please give me somewhere to start with it. Thanks
