Battery Not charging. I have used 3 batteries
OK i have a macbook pro 13" Touch Bar 2019 Model 2159 to be exact . my battery was showing not charging, service message i went ahead and bought 1 for replacement , i got new battery and same thing. i went ahead and order another one from amazon same thing and i got a third one with no luck.
one thing i noticed all 3 batteries that i got are reading 0 volts when checking the + and - pads , original battery showing 2.18 Volts . is this normal or should be reading 11.4 what the battery is rated for ?. of maybe this batteries has a special sensing wire that needs to pull low or high to detect battery ?
computer will boot up but will cut off as soon as i take the cable off , makes sense since its not even showing it charging or anything.
funny thing is when plug in and measure the + and - contacts on battery is showing 11.47 volts looks like the battery is trying to charge but the IC is not letting it charge since no voltage is detected. looks to me that all the batteries i have bought are faulty. on coconutbattery app on batteries info is even showing batteries were mad in 2013 lol. here are some pictures maybe someone can confirm if batteries are faulty or not
Ist dies eine gute Frage?
